Malaysia: Malaysian Pottery

In January 2026, Pos Malaysia issued the “Malaysian Pottery” stamp series to celebrate the country’s rich ceramic heritage. The 30 sen, 50 sen, and RM1.00 stamps, along with the RM5.00 miniature sheet, showcase traditional pottery forms and decorative styles influenced by indigenous, Malay, and Chinese cultures. Pottery has played an important role in daily life and ceremonial practices in Malaysia for centuries, from food storage to ritual use.

Germany: "Stolpersteine" and Margot Friedländer (1921–2025)

Two stamps frank this cover, both from the 2025 German commemorative stamp programme and each valued at 0.95 €. The upper stamp is the "Stolpersteine" issue, the design reproduces one of Gunter Demnig's brass cobblestones. His "Stolpersteine"-project, now comprising well over 100.000 individual memorial stones embedded in pavements across Europe, commemorates Holocaust victims at the very places they last lived or worked. The lower stamp honours Margot Friedländer (1921–2025). Friedländer was a well-known Holocaust survivors and a tireless advocate for remembrance until her death at the age of 103 in May 2025.

Liechtenstein: SEPAC 2025 - "Architecture"

As reminder, every year, the members of SEPAC – the Small European Postal Administrations' Cooperation – join forces to release a stamp on a shared theme. For 2025, the chosen theme is "Architecture". Liechtenstein's contribution is a single stamp with a face value of CHF 1.90, issued on 2 June 2025. The motif is the Hagenhaus – a 19th-century farmstead located in the small hamlet of Nendeln. The building complex has been a listed monument since 1988 and is considered the best-preserved early 19th-century farm complex in the entire Principality.

In 2025, Radio France celebrates its 50th anniversary. The public broadcaster was founded in 1975 after the breakup of ORTF and has since become a central part of France’s media landscape. Radio France runs several well-known stations, including France Inter, France Info, and France Culture. Together, they offer news, music, culture, and entertainment to millions of listeners every day.

In 2025, the world marks 160 years since the founding of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), established in 1865 to advance global connectivity and international cooperation in telecommunications. For this occasion Pos Malaysia issued 2 stamps as se-tenant pair and 1 miniature sheet containing 2 different circular stamps.

Lee Jae-myung was elected President of South Korea on 3 June 2025 and officially took office on 4 June 2025.  To commemorate his first 100 days in office, Korea Post issued a special inauguration stamp — issued on 11 September 2025.

Philippines: In Memoriam - Pope Francis (1936-2025)

The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) issued a commemorative stamp on June 5, 2025, to honor Pope Francis (who died in April 2025) and his legacy of faith, compassion, and service. The stamp features a se-tenant design with one side showing his spiritual humility and the other his global advocacy for peace and social justice. PHLPost printed 20,000 copies of this commemorative stamp, along with 1,000 official first day covers which makes them quite rare.

Switzerland: Eurovision Song Contest 2025

In May 2025, the Eurovision Song Contest takes to the stage in Basel, returning to its country of birth – the first Eurovision was held on 24 May 1956 in Lugano. The very first winner was Lys Assia, a world-famous singer and actress from the canton of Aargau, who won the first contest for Switzerland with her song “Refrain”.

Poland: The 80th Anniversary of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University

Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (MCSU) (Polish: Uniwersytet Marii Curie-Skłodowskiej w Lublinie, UMCS) is a public research university, in Lublin, Poland. It is named in honour of Marie Curie-Sklodowska. The University was founded on October 23, 1944, by the Lublin Committee during the Second World War. Since then, It has expanded to be the largest university in Eastern Poland, with over 12 Faculties in Lublin, and a satellite campus in Puławy. The University has nearly 16,000 students, who study in over 90 disciplines. Out of those 16,000, over 1,600 are international students, who represent almost 45 countries.

In Chinese culture, the Snake is also linked to wealth and good fortune, but it can also represent danger or caution because of its connection to the serpent.

Switzerland: Definitive Stamps - Swiss Railway Stations ("2024 Overprints")

Originally issued in 2016 as part of the new “Swiss railway stations” definitive stamps set the two designs, of Lucerne and Brig railway station were re-issued by Swiss Post with an overprint. Because not all of the stamps were sold and the face values have changed, the remaining stamps were simply lying around in stock. Swiss Post gave the “old” stamps a second chance by overprinting them with the current face values.
